Kids Throw Bricks

Trespass, vandalism and antisocial behaviour on the railway endanger lives and cost the rail industry millions of pounds that could be invested in improving the services and infrastructure.

While the majority of offenders are grown-ups, many children and teenagers are drawn to mess about on the railway. Graffiti, throwing stones at passing trains, vandalising property, and underage drinking and loitering at stations are serious problems on the railway.

Most importantly, the young people who get involved in antisocial behaviour on the railway put themselves and other people in grave danger – often without understanding the risks.
