The usage of the rail industry track safety website has grown ten-fold in the six months that Lucid has been managing the site.

The number of unique users per month has tripled since January when Lucid took over the site, whereas the number of visits and number of pages viewed each month has grown tenfold – from a mere 1,300 pages viewed in January to over 13,000 in June. On average, a user spends almost 8 minutes on the site during their visit.

The site provides the rail industry with up-to-date news and briefing materials on track safety issues, including interactive features, real life stories and a library of videos and newsletters. Rail industry safety professionals have their own secure area – Briefer’s Toolkit – which provides additional safety briefing materials.

Lucid completely redesigned and developed the site, and continues to create new stories and features on a weekly basis. The site is provided to the industry by the Rail Safety and Standards Board.
